Privacy
Warm Camera is a point and shoot camera for iPhone with its look built in. It is built so that your photos stay yours.
What we collect
Nothing, unless you choose to give us your email address. Aeon does not collect, receive or store your photos, videos or anything about how you use Warm Camera. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your photos and videos
Everything you shoot is processed on your iPhone and saved to your own Photos library. The look, the grain and every other adjustment happen on the device. Nothing is uploaded to Aeon or anyone else.
Camera, microphone and Photos
Warm Camera asks for the camera to take pictures, the microphone to record sound with videos, and Photos to save your shots and show them in its gallery. Favourites and deletions you make in Warm Camera are made in your Photos library. QR codes the camera sees are read on your iPhone; a link opens only when you tap it.
Location
With Save location on, the default, Warm Camera adds where you took each photo and video to the shot itself, the way the Camera app does. It stays in your Photos library; turn it off in Warm Camera's Settings. With the caption's city, weather or sunrise on, your location is sent to Apple to look up the city and the conditions where you are. With the caption's landmark on, it is also sent to Wikipedia to find the nearest named place. Altitude and the direction you face come from your iPhone's own sensors. Aeon never receives your location.
Apple Health
Warm Camera can print today's steps, today's active calories and your latest heart rate in the photo caption. It reads them from Apple Health only if you connect it or switch one of those caption parts on, and allow it in the Health permission sheet; you can change that any time in the Health app. Warm Camera only reads, it never writes to Health. The numbers are read on your iPhone, used only to draw the caption on your photos and videos, and never sent to Aeon or anyone else, never used for advertising or marketing, and never sold or shared. The only place they leave your iPhone is inside a photo you choose to share.
Oura
If you connect your Oura account, Warm Camera reads your Oura scores to print in the caption. Signing in happens on Oura's own page; our server at warm.camera completes the sign-in and hands the access straight to your iPhone without keeping it. From then on your iPhone fetches the scores from Oura directly. Aeon never receives your Oura data. Disconnect any time in Warm Camera's Settings, under Integrations.
Music and Shazam
With the caption's Now playing on, Warm Camera reads the song playing in the Music app, with your permission. If you tap the Shazam button, the microphone listens for a few seconds so Shazam can name the song; that sound goes to Apple's Shazam service and is not kept by Warm Camera or sent to Aeon.
Lock Screen camera
Photos and videos taken from the Lock Screen are kept on your iPhone until you next open Warm Camera, then moved into your Photos library.
Your email address
On first launch Warm Camera offers to keep you posted about what Aeon makes next. If you enter your email address, it is used only to send you those updates through our email service provider, and you can unsubscribe from any email. We never sell or share it. Skipping it changes nothing about the app.
Children
Warm Camera is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone who does not choose to share an email address.
Changes
